Fitness plan
This term we have been setting up one game a week. Each week we change the game to another one. So far it has been going very well. This week we have been playing Island tag. So next week we are playing cat and pigeons. I have been setting up a file to keep a record of our games we have played.

We would like to say a big thanks to Mrs Pratt who has offered to coach us, at the last minute, and we really appreciate this! We have been doing fitness based on netball skills for the last two weeks and are now starting to have practice games on the court. The Oroua Netball Tournament will be held on the 10th of September for Year 4 - 8 students. By Caleb J

Cross Country Training
We run every day around the field, out the gate and back around the road to school. Each circuit is 500 metres. It depends how old we are as to how many laps we do. We are running slightly longer distances than the race will be so that we are well prepared. We try to improve our time each day.

Hockey
Right now we are doing a movie explaining how being active is really important. We are showing how redesigning the sports shed has encouraged people to be more active at school. We think this is because it is easier to find the equipment we need. Senior students have been practising hockey every morning tea and lunchtime. We would like to thank Vaughan and Kate for helping us with our hockey training. - By Nastia

Yesterday was our working bee. The boards from Bunning's were delivered and our parents helped put them up around all three walls because the other wall already had some on it. Now we need to get all of the equipment and store it back in nicely so that it is easy to get. Yesterday we made a plan and soon it will all be going back in according to this.
